You can use 9.5x3, 8.75x2.75 or 8.5x2.5 depending on which shock mounts you are using and how much travel you want.

Oh sorry, i haven't recognized your note until now...
Actually i didn' get to ride the 2011 volteage fr, my buddy did.
I think, the lower bb on the 2011 makes the bike a little more stable when run in high speed and the higher bb on the 2010 is still low enough for me (you also get the feeling of a pretty low bb when riding in the 180mm mode) but might be a little more agile when it comes to jumping...
If it is still a concern to you, just ask buckow, he helped developing the bike and is always willing to answer your questions, he did help me a lot.
Cheers,
Curtis

You'd likely need a medium for that, it would be super stretched to run a 36, I'm not 100% but I really don't think it will simply move that much. I've never played with the saint stuff, but I'd do a medium, I keep tension on my chain in the big and little cogs and have enough to allow for chain growth as is. oh, I run a medium cage Sram X.o, moving to a medium cage XTR with an 11-36 cassette.
